COMMUNITYMAXXING

The practice of repeatedly participating in a community until presence, contribution and reciprocal familiarity become a form of belonging.

KEEP SHOWING UP.

What is COMMUNITYMAXXING?

COMMUNITYMAXXING redirects self-improvement outward. Instead of optimizing appearance, status or individual performance, a person keeps returning to the club, event, neighbourhood, group chat or shared ritual until attendance becomes belonging. A commercial mutation treats the same relationships as a future sales funnel; the archive centres participation and documents the instrumental version.

ATTENTION / INTERPRETATION / PARTICIPATION

Adherents believe

  1. Belonging is built through repetition.

  2. A community notices who keeps returning.

  3. Contribution creates a different relationship than attendance.

  4. Useful presence can become mutual care.

  5. Networking is what community becomes when every relationship needs an outcome.

You may already be COMMUNITYMAXXING if…

  • people notice when you miss the recurring event
  • you know who needs help before they ask
  • you have become responsible for setting up the chairs
  • your social life is organized around rooms rather than feeds
  • your community strategy is beginning to sound like lead generation

Typical practices

  • returning to the same place
  • learning people’s names
  • joining recurring rituals
  • helping before optimizing
  • organizing events or shared spaces
  • contributing without immediate return
